Some days of the year are more special than others. I suggest we honor certain days of the year with a small visual on the site.
Eg. Nov 9th was Carl Sagan's birthday, we could have an image of Carl with a small description and when clicked it would take you to a page with links tagged "Carl Sagan".
Other days of the year for this would be Christmas, Easter, etc. I'm sure users would be happy to supply special day suggestions.
